Who We Support
St. Vrain Habitat distributes 10% of its unrestricted funds to National Habitat Offices in each of Habitat’s 4 international regions: Latin America and Caribbean, Africa and Middle East, Asia and Pacific, Europe and Central Asia – 4 distinct regions of the world. There are Habitat organizations in 70 countries throughout the world.

Goals and Vision for Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley Global Village Builds
As a Christian organization, “we are driven by the desire to express God’s love through eliminating poverty housing” (HFHI Website). Our international Habitat offices are part of the “world house” of our Beloved Community, uniting across borders to work with people to build homes, communities and hope worldwide. We commit to both local and global neighbors, inviting diverse community members to work together in shared purpose.

Volunteering Internationally
We visit our Tithe Partners to support their work by working alongside National Offices—not to fix or teach, but to join and honor their ongoing work to eliminate substandard housing.

Energizing our local affiliate
We will increase local participation from those more inclined to support international development and help those in our community see the need and work in our own neighborhoods, as well as internationally.

Building Relationships
Our tithe provides financial support to international partners, but true connection working side by side. This deepens our understanding, strengthen our shared story, and help us better communicate their needs and impact.

Our tithe supports international affiliates by financial means, but our relationship and our global story will only increase in authenticity with relationships built by working side by side. Through meaningful relationships built on the trips, we will increase our ability to describe the need and promote the work of our tithe partners.
