Download the application, English | Español, and complete all items on the checklist. You can drop them off at our office, 303 Atwood St., Longmont, CO 80501, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you are applying for Estes Park, you can drop your application off at the housing authority, 363 E Elkhorn Ave #101, Estes Park, CO 80517.

If you would like to submit your application electronically, we prefer that you do not email it to us. Contact our office, and we can create a secure link to upload your documents.

Once you have completed all the steps on the checklist, please return the application and the accompanying documents to our office. If you need to pick up a paper copy, please schedule an appointment at info@stvrainhabitat.org.

During an open orientation period, visit the Homebuyer Education Website to watch the orientation video. First register by creating an account. Next be sure to take the orientation class for the location you are applying to. The class may consist of 2-4 sections: including general orientation, location-specific information and additional information as needed.

Print the Certificate of Completion. Once you have completed the course and quiz you will receive a certificate of completion. Print or save the certificate and submit it with your application. This Certificate is part of the documents that we require as part of the Application.

After we receive all requested documents, part 1 of the application will be evaluated based on your ability to repay a loan. If you meet the minimum requirements, you will be sent part 2 of the application requesting additional documents. Once you receive the request for additional documents, complete them and return them as requested.

If you do not meet the minimum requirements, you will be notified. You can reapply at a future date.

If we have received all your documents and you meet our minimum requirements, you will be contacted to complete an interview with the Homeowner Selection Committee.

Please be aware that your application may be denied at any point in the process. We offer a counseling meeting to help you understand why you were denied and offer guidance for reapplying or other options. Once all steps have been completed, we will determine if your application has been approved or denied, and you will be notified.
