Our Homes
Habitat Homes are 50% more efficient than a traditional builder!
What are Habitat homes like?
Our homes are energy efficient
Habitat homes are designed to meet the evolving needs of families in the front range. We offer 1 and 2 bedroom homes with 1 or 2 bathrooms, including both single-story layouts and two-story designs.
These bright, thoughtfully designed homes have everything you need to feel comfortable and settled. From open living spaces to energy-efficient features, each home is built to support your family now and in the future.

Where does Habitat Build?
Habitat for Humanity Builds across hundreds of independent affiliates in over 50 states and 70 countries. St. Vrain Habitat serves the communities of the St. Vrain Valley School District and the Estes Valley building and preserving homes in Longmont, Dacono and Estes Park.
Every build helps more families put down roots and plan for the future.
What Makes Habitat Homes Affordable?
Our unique approach ensures that Habitat homes remain affordable for working families in the St. Vrain Valley. Here’s how we make it possible:
1. Modest, Well-Designed Homes
We build homes that meet essential family needs while keeping costs low. Every home includes energy-efficient LED lighting, durable flooring, and basic kitchen appliances.
2. Lower Long-Term Costs
Energy-efficient designs significantly reduce monthly utility bills, and our no-profit pricing ensures families pay only the actual cost of the home.
3. Affordable Mortgages
Owning a home should be more affordable than renting. We provide 30-year, zero-interest mortgages, keeping monthly payments significantly lower than local market rent.
4. Community-Powered Construction
We rely on volunteers, partners and donated materials to keep costs low. Local businesses participate in build days, contributing labor and materials to keep our construction lean.
Are you renting and looking for a way to buy your first home?
Buy a home through our affordable Homeownership Program – no down payment and no interest. Plus, your monthly mortgage payments are guaranteed to be set at no more than 30% of your family’s total household income.

The average Habitat home requires over 2,500 hours of volunteer labor. People from all walks of life work alongside one another to improve the lives of others.

This home didn’t just change where we live—it changed how we feel, how we plan, how we hope. I’m grateful in a way that’s hard to put into words, but easy to feel every single day.
