What We Do

Individuals, Corporations, Foundations, Faith Partners and Community Partners of Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley provide affordable homeownership opportunities and strengthen community through donations and volunteer service.
We believe in partnerships that are mutually beneficial. Corporate sponsors join in our mission of creating and preserving affordable homeownership in the St. Vrain Valley. Volunteers – We welcome individuals, teams, community groups, faith congregations, and many more to join us in building affordable homeownership opportunities for local families. No prior experience is necessary; we’ll show you what to do!
Volunteering is a great way to make new friends, plus learn new skills especially when working for a cause you find meaningful. Whether you want to swing a hammer, stock some shelves, capture photos, or cheer on hardworking families, we have a purpose for you. Architects, engineers, florists, caterers, whatever your skill, what if you used it to help a family build a place to call home?
Subs & Suppliers
Every St. Vrain Habitat home has over $30,000 worth of donated or discounted labor and supplies provided by local and national subcontractors or manufacturers. This support allows us to reduce our cash costs and build more homes.
We hire contractors for paid opportunities to work alongside Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley to ensure everyone in our city has a decent place to live. If you are interested in becoming eligible to contract on construction opportunities with St. Vrain Habitat:

- Copy of active CO Business License and CO contractor license or trade license as required by code
- A brief statement of experience & qualifications with home repairs
Donations
Turning donated home goods into funds for building homes
The Habitat ReStore receives new, used, discontinued or surplus building materials, appliances and home furnishing from companies, contractors, retailers, and individuals. The proceeds from the items you donate to Habitat for Humanity are tax deductible and will be used to build houses for low-income families in the St. Vrain Valley.
St. Vrain Habitat is proud to partner with local corporations, faith organizations, foundations, and generous individuals and families. None of our work is possible without our community’s financial support.
