Looking for a team building activity for your employees, church, or university?
No experience necessary!
We will teach you everything you need to know. You will work with fellow volunteers and future homeowners, and be guided by our Site Supervisors. You’ll have an opportunity to build on either our new home sites or with our critical repair program. Just show up willing to work as part of a team and learn new skills. We will do the rest!

We can even provide housing for out of town groups. Our newly completed Builder’s Bunker can accommodate groups of up to 16 volunteers. Our comfortable space includes two bunkrooms, two showers, on-site laundry, a full kitchen along with recreation/relaxation space.

We welcome both individuals and groups to join us on site. Please note volunteers must be at least 16 years old and we recommend one adult chaperone for each 3 volunteers between 16 and 17.
Out-of-town groups should submit the ‘Book the Bunker’ interest form to request a build date as soon as possible. The calendar for larger groups can fill up months in advance so please book early.
PLEASE NOTE: There is a small fee for use of the Bunker.
The Builder’s Bunker is conveniently located in downtown Longmont, just a few blocks from the historic downtown and Main Street. Longmont is north of Boulder (15 min by car) and east of Rocky Mountain National Park (45 min drive). There are plenty of parks and easy hikes nearby and even more adventure waiting for you in the mountains.
